The Third Grade Team is coordinating science activities through a site Mr.Bradford created, www.mrbradford.info. Please check out my page through Clever which includes virtual field trips, science activities, and more. I will be adding activities throughout this distance learning time, so check it out each week for updates.
Below is a suggested schedule to keep your child engaged and learning during this time. This is a suggestion only. Feel free to adapt to your schedule. Some may want to spend more time on certain activities, rotating different ones on different days, and also changing up the order. Whatever works best for your schedule is what you should have them do. Just be sure they are actively learning and engaged!
I will be meeting with students virtually through Zoom meetings during the assigned time for the third grade team; Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:00 - 10:15. You will receive emails weekly with the info needed to sign into the meetings. You will also receive a list of weekly assignments which support the RCPS pacing at this time. - Study Island Reading or IXL Language Arts (30-40 minutes)
- Choice Reading (20-30 minutes)
- Daily Spelling Work, if posted (15-20 minutes)
- Freetime/Break (30-40 minutes)
- Study Island or IXL Math (30-40 minutes)
- ST Math as needed to supplement
