Biome Sweet Biome
In this weeklong study, you will explore the many biomes that make up our wild and wonderful Earth.
Day 1
Introduction to Biomes: Today, you will create a booklet that will guide your study of biomes and watch an overview video about the six major land biomes.
1. Create a half–fold booklet for your land biome study to begin. You will use two total sheets of paper that are folded in half “hamburger style”. This will allow you to have a total of 8 mini-pages for your booklet.
2. Next, you will put the two pages together like a book that will have a total of 8 pages. Label each page with the names below.
- Cover – “Land Biomes of the World”
- Page 2 – “Table of Contents”
- Page 3 – “Desert”
- Page 4 – “Tropical Rainforest”
- Page 5 – “Taiga”
- Page 6 – “Deciduous Forests”
- Page 7 – “Grasslands/Savannahs”
- Page 8 – “Tundra”
