Crystal Spring Elementary School has an amazing reputation for high student academic success and wonderful traditions. As the principal, I encourage all families to be engaged in their child's education and develop a partnership as we work together on this journey. Prior to being named Principal of Crystal Spring Elementary in August of 2021, I served as Principal of Morningside Elementary from 2018-2021. In 2016, I began my career in Roanoke City Schools, when I was appointed to serve as the Assistant Principal of Woodrow Wilson Middle School. This is my 20th year in education. I have worked with students from age 3-adult teaching all subjects and all types of learners.
My wife, Kelly, also works for Roanoke City Public Schools and currently serves as the Principal at Highland Park Elementary. We have two boys Jackson 10th grade and Liam 9th grade. Both boys went to Crystal and still spend time playing on the blacktop with their friends. We love to be active and enjoy riding our bikes and running, swimming and playing all types of sports. We moved to Roanoke in the summer of 2016 from Harrisonburg. My wife and I both graduated from James Madison University (GO DUKES!!!!!!) and LOVE the BALTIMORE RAVENS!!!!!
