About Crystal Spring School
Crystal Spring Elementary School is one of 17 elementary schools in the Roanoke City public School District. Located in the Crystal Spring neighborhood of South Roanoke, Crystal Spring is home to the Tigers. The school is led by Principal Jason Rooney and Assistant Principal Stefanie Leavelle.
Crystal Spring School will emphasize the development of creative thinking, flexible and appropriate educational opportunities relevant to students' lives, and the fostering of intellectual curiosity and zest for learning. We will develop each student's ability to communicate and function as a part of the world community through technology, writing, public speaking, creative expressions, and visual arts.
